Hannah’s life passion is helping dogs reach their potential whether that’s overcoming traumas and behavioral issues, or accessing the true freedom of off leash reliability on the trail. With a diverse background in dog grooming, veterinary care, and dog training, she brings a well-rounded view of multiple aspects of dog ownership.
She built a love for training with her family dog as a kid teaching simple tricks such as dance, pray, and bow. The love for canines grew in college when she took her first job with a local trainer who guided her through the learning process of dog training.
OUR STORY After seeking out more professional guidance through mentorships, courses, and seminars, she knew that she had found her purpose and decided to share her expertise and experience to the community by establishing Western K9.
As a balanced trainer with a diverse background, I integrate the best aspects of various methodologies to offer a comprehensive approach to dog ownership. This approach encompasses therapeutic strategies for addressing reactivity, a LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) approach to off-leash training with e-collars, and the insights gained from my experience as a vet tech and groomer. This ensures a well-rounded approach to addressing the needs of our clients’ beloved pets.
